Water Cycle Song

Water Cycle Song

Duration

  • Two to three weeks

How it works

Children learn about the water cycle using pictures, song and dance.

What to do in the class

Start off explaining to the children how important water is to us. Use the pictures and discuss each one briefly. Explain that we are going to sing a song all about how the water falls from the clouds as rain and ends up back in the clouds ready to fall as rain again. You can either do the song completely without props so that the children are totally focussed on the material or if you want to you can use ribbons or scarves to help express the movements. You can perhaps do the first week without props and introduce them on the second week.
