Babies Walkers 2 2s to 3s 3s to 4s

Overview and benefit

This activity helps your toddler to start to understand the structure of their day using a set of songs. The songs can be used away from the class to help promote and learn good routines.

Equipment required

  • Songs

Duration

  • two to three weeks

How it works

You have three songs to chose from. Practice each song over at least a couple of weeks to allow the children to learn the words and actions with you.

What to do in the class

Explain to the children what time of the day each song is about, and get them to think about the things they do at this time of the day. Demonstrate each of the actions encouraging the children to join in with you. Put on the song and sing it with the actions together.
