Welcome! I am Karen Morgan and I run MAD Academy in Epsom and surrounding areas. As well as running fun, high energy classes for children and parents, I also provide sessions in nurseries and children’s centres and can bring a touch of MADness to children’s parties!
Summer Term 2012
Classes resumed on Monday 16th April and will run for 13 weeks, up to and including Friday 20th July. Epsom venue finishes 6th July (11 week term).
NB No classes during half term week 4th to 8th June.
You are welcome to join a class at ANY point during the term subject to place availability. Numbers are limited so contact me now to reserve your place.
The Autumn term will start week beginning Monday 10th September 2012.

Summer HOLIDAY Classes
Dates for your diaries: On Wednesdays 1st, 8th and 15th August 2012 there will be special holiday classes running at St Michael’s Church Hall, The Marld, Ashtead. These sessions must be pre-booked and paid for in advance as numbers are limited. More information to follow… Watch this space!
MADSport for Summer Term 2012
In view of the amazing sporting events happening this summer, we will be giving parts of our classes an exciting sports theme. We will be learning new songs, dances and rhythmic activities, exploring different types of sport and using our bodies and our imaginations to try them out. Gross motor activities will involve investigating our many props and developing some key skills, from batting balloons, throwing and catching balls, and tossing frisbees, to dancing with gymnastic ribbons and spinning hoops.
As well as sports, we will be experiencing aspects of the many nations that will be visiting us this summer, again through specially written songs, rhythm activities and continental music. Our final class of term will be a MADSport party using all of the songs and material that we have learnt over the course of the term in a complete event, including opening ceremony and medals. I do hope you can join us.
Special sport themed parties will be offered for birthdays, pre-schools and nurseries, plus all of our new MADSport songs will be available for you to purchase on a super new CD.
MAD Academy Award Winner
At the annual MAD Academy national conference at the end of November, Karen was presented with the Business Development award. She even received her award from the company mascot, Ralph the Bear!

Class Prices
- 13* weeks of MAD Academy classes @ £5.50 = £71.50* (entire summer term April to July 2012) *depending on venue (*Epsom = 11 weeks, Tadworth and Ashtead Monday = 12 weeks)
- 7* continuous weeks @ £6 = £42* (entire first half term, Apr- Jun 2012) *Ashtead Monday and Tadworth Thursday venues = 6 weeks.
- A 20% discount applies to all of the above for a 2nd child – please ask for details
- FREE Trial Class – If you wish to try out a single class first, then it’s free!
- You can join a class at any point during the term (subject to place availability) and fees will be calculated accordingly.
Note – all fees paid in advance are non refundable but it may be possible to catch up missed classes at an alternative venue (during the same half term) subject to place availability – please check.
