Music and movement has amazing benefits for babies. That’s why MAD Academy offers specially designed classes for babies and toddlers from 3 months, which are bursting with age appropriate fun! In our baby class we enjoy singing lots of lovely songs and nursery rhymes, as well as experiencing a wide range of music.
Babies love to explore all our fascinating and colourful instruments. We use signing to encourage babies’ burgeoning communication skills and vocabulary, along with games and activities centred on speech development, sound recognition and listening.
We also encourage early motor development with exciting props, games and simple dance routines. We focus lots of attention on sensory stimulation with special activities designed to captivate and delight young children.
Our approach is free spirited and relaxed, so both parent and child can enjoy their time together. If babies need feeding, or changing, or want to do something a bit different, that is absolutely fine. We know there will soon be something exciting to engage their attention again and bring a smile to their face.
