1st time on a Bus!

This weekend I’ve been out and about trying to find alternative ways to travel as well as enjoying the winter sun. I’ve always wondered about all the different ways you can travel to places so I asked my mummy if we could take a trip on a bus as I have never been on one. Mummy and Daddy were happy to take me on a bus so we decided to take a ride to the park instead of using the car. After a bit of honey on toast for breakfast we walked to the bus stop; we had to wait for a little while as the buses have to come at certain times so people don’t miss it, it was a bit chilly! Once the bus arrived we climbed on board and asked the drive for a family ticket, mummy put her money in the machine and the drive gave us a ticket. Daddy did suggest going upstairs but the stairs looked big and a bit scary so we decided to sit at the back downstairs instead. I sat next to the window so I could see all the cars passing by. On the way we played eye spy and sang The Wheels on the Bus, I do love that song! When we got close to the park mummy told me to press the button, it made a ding sound and the bus came to a stop at the next bus stop. We all climbed off and walked the short walk to the park. Once there we got out my favourite football and had a kick about, I even managed to score a goal against daddy! After a quick energy snack and a jump in a few puddles we went and waited for the bus to come and take us back home. I really enjoyed traveling to the park by bus; I wonder if we can travel by train next time? Or boat? Or plane? Have you ever travelled a fun way?
