MAD Academy Croydon receive special fundraising certificates
The toddlers and children who attend MAD Academy Croydon were absolutely delighted last week to be presented with special Children in Need certificates.
The children, who all attend the weekly music and movement class, had supported last years week of fundraising for Pudsey Bear, by bringing their teddies to class. The teddies and children got to join Ralph the bear, the MAD Academy mascot, in all the singing and dancing, and at the end of the class, parents and children bought cakes for their teddy. Their teddy bear cake sale raised over £40 which was all donated to Children in Need.
Debbie Mason, who runs MAD Academy Croydon, said, “We all had a fantastic time. The children loved making their teddies join in all the activities and the parents of Croydon were really generous and supportive. It was great to give out their special Children in Need certificates this week – they were really proud of them!”
